As Summer rounds it's final corner into Fall, along with it's passing comes the arrival of a great tradition at Trackside Hobbies: The Team Associated Off-Road Championships! Join us, with World Famous Race Director Scotty Ernst, in welcoming the 8th iteration of this timeless classic.
Contenders from all around North America gather in Wisconsin for one of the most anticipated 1/10th Indoor Electric events of the year! Whether you are a casual hobbyist, or a paid professional RC Racer, the AE Race has everything you could ever desire for a major competition.
4 Rounds of Qualifying in the Qual Points format, with your best 2 rounds seeding you into your main event position.
All major Classes will feature a Triple A Main Format, with bump ups to the B main ONLY.
(Stock Buggy, 13.5 Wheeler, 40+ Mod, 21.5 Spec, Mod 2wd and Mod 4wd.)
Truck Classes and Novice will host a 7 minute A Main Event, with 2 drivers bumping from each lower main...potentially all the way up to the podium position.

Wednesday - 11am-8pm Open Practice, $12 Practice Fee.
Thursday - 10am-5:30pm Practice (Included) 1 Round of Seeding at 6pm.
Friday - 8am-8:45am Practice. 2 Rounds of Qualifying at 9am.
Saturday - 8am-8:45am Practice. 2 Rounds of Qualifying at 9am.
Sunday - 8am-8:45am Practice. Mains at 9am.

As has now been the format for several years, the 2024 Team Associated Off-Road Championships will run over a total of 3 days – 2 days of qualifying and one day of hot Mains! The preceding Wednesday and Thursday are scheduled practice days as well.
The Team Associated Off-Road Championships will adhere to the guidelines set forth by ROAR for the given classes. Please refer to ROAR guidelines for class specific rules (Chassis Specs, Battery Spec, Motor Spec, etc.) If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask!! All vehicles will be subject to technical inspection as needed.
* Independant 21.5 Buggy will use a 21.5 Hobbywing G2.1 Justock FTM Motor, which must be purchased, sealed, and stickered from Trackside Hobbies for $64.99 (to ensure legality). A fixed gear ratio will be enforced. The final drive ratio must be 5.85. No sponsored drivers of any sort are allowed in this class.
