This year’s installment of the U.S. Off-Road Buggy Championships falls on April 21st and 22nd. This marks the third installment of what has become another hotly contested title at Trackside! Join us in April for another great spring weekend of racing!!
The 2018 event will play host to the same vehicle-specific race classes, showcasing some of the very best open-wheel racing in the country!! As has been the case previously, race entries are limited to 2WD and 4WD buggies. The race format will include 3 rounds of qualifying (rocket round structure) and showcase 10 Minute mains with bump-up format.
Friday, April 20th: Doors open at 12:00pm, Open Practice until 6:30pm, Normal Friday night race program at 7pm
Saturday, April 21st: Doors open at 9AM, Open practice until 11:45AM qualifying kicks off at 12PM. 3 Rounds of qualifying. (Resort after round 1 and 2)
Sunday, April 22nd: Doors open at 8AM, Racing begins at 9AM. Each main is 10 Minutes, Top 2 bump up. Awards presentation to follow!
The 2018 U.S. Buggy Championships will adhere to the guidelines set forth by ROAR for the given classes. Please refer to ROAR guidelines for class specific rules (Chassis Specs, Battery Spec, Motor Spec, etc.) If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask!! All vehicles will be subject to technical inspection as needed.

10 Amp Maximum Charge Rate
Battery must be within 10 degrees Fahrenheit of ambient temperature
Max charge voltage of 8.44 for a 2S pack
LiPo fire-safe bag must be used for charging
Pit Mat/Towel is required
We WILL be spot checking any and all racers for the above rules! These are safety requirements and are not open to discussion.
